It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown!

We had some wildlife in our front lawn recently. We were very surprised to see them there….out in the open., near traffic and people. Not the usual. My kids were amazed. I HAD to get some pics. So I waited for them to come around. I got my camera out with the long lens on, of course. I sneaked around the side of the bush and crouched down, trying to be inconspicuous. I kept the lens up to eye, waiting for the right moment. It’s very tricky, you know. I was doing it all National Geographic style. The kids were watching with anticipation from the front window. We didn’t want any sudden moves…you never know what could happen. And, low and behold, they appeared. And this is what I saw….

Bunnies-1

Bunnies-5

Bunnies-2

Bunnies-3

Bunnies-6

Bunnies-4

No offense to any of my mothers out there, but these may have been the cutest babies I have ever taken pictures of. All in all there were 7 of them. 7 baby bunnies in my front yard… that has to be good luck somehow!!

Miranda - So funny! We have three in our yard too. They are beyond cute. The only problem is our yellow lab chases them away before we can check them out. It’s amazing how small they are.
