Well, I have a lot of mixed emotions about this being my last session for 2008.
First and foremost, I would like to thank all the wonderful people I have met this year. Thank you for inviting me into their lives to create beautiful images of your families!! It has been a wonderful year and I look forward to working with you all again in the years to come.
Secondly, I am excited to have a small bit of down time to get my Xmas shopping done, spend some time with my daughter (who is sick of me working), plan out all my marketing and business changes for next year, and hopefully relax a bit.
Lastly, I want to apologize to all the families that I had to turn away for holiday sessions this year. I HATE to turn people away and I managed to squeeze some of you in beyond my initial plans. You may wonder why sessions stop before Thanksgiving. For each holiday session I shoot I have to get those pictures toned/edited. You have to view them. We have to design a card and make revisions, then get them printed and shipped in time for you to send them out before Santa comes. So, as you can see, when I have 2-4 sessions each week leading up to Thanksgiving, things can get pretty crazy. Moving forward, I will ask all of you to compromise with me. I will make sure to find a way to add more shooting slots into next year, and you all will book a bit further in advance and maybe even take advantage of my Christmas in July special that will be happening in 2009.
Enough, about that.. let’s get on to some images. The bonus about being the last session of the year is that you get more previews than anyone else.
