The session that almost wasn't

Phew….so I’m finally caught up. I need either a cup of coffee or my bed!
This session ALMOST didn’t happen. Note to self…..don’t print out directions to Pavilion Catering when you’re trying to get to the Barns at Wesleyan Hills. He, he, just kidding :) After a little driving around, we made it! And it was a good thing too because these kids were sooo cute! I can’t say enough about this family. I had a great time with them. Everyone was still in a good mood and ready for pics after their long drive. Thanks for hanging in there guys!

Elizabeth Park Newborn Session

Elizabeth Park is so beautiful this time of year. I’m glad we decided to have the newborn session there. Baby M wasn’t so happy in the beginning (I don’t think anybody filled her in on her modeling contract!) A little bit of food and a change of scenery helped. Next time, we’ll skip the music night :)

2 kids + 1 on the way

So, not having much luck with the weather lately! I arrived at this family’s house and it started to down pour! Luckily it was a passing shower and it turned out to be a nice evening. We decided to hold the session at their home and it was a good choice!

My First Greek Orthodox Baptism

Ok, so I haven’t posted in a while. Been just a tiny bit busy……as you will see in the next few posts. I’m playing catch up today. I’m planting myself in front of this computer until I’m finished!
I had the honor shooting my first Greek Baptism at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Barbara in Orange CT. It was a beautiful ceremony. Baby R did a great job considering all the attention around her. I loved all the details and traditions that were involved. It was a great experience.

7 months or so and counting….

I had a great time shooting this session. This family had a nice backyard with lots of room. I love getting creative outdoors. I set up my backdrop and light stand out there and we had tons of room. The only thing was it started raining! We stayed out for quite a while and then had to go in. This couple is very excited about having a boy this Aug. Doesn’t she look great! Having a girl and then a boy myself I can relate to how much fun it is having one of each. Good luck with everything!
