This little guy was so adorable! We moved him around and put him everywhere and he dealt with it so well. He was wide awake and looking around for most of the pics and then at the end he fell asleep. He was so peaceful! Thanks for letting me spend the afternoon with you all. I can’t wait until the next session!

Presenting……Shaun!

ok, sooooo….who’s Shaun? Well, none other than my fun-loving hubby! He’s been the behind-the-scenes guy in the business for a while. My Photoshop guru, as he likes to be called. He has a serious passion for photography (thanks to me. he,he) and he loves to learn everything he can about it. He will be actively contributing to this blog and answering business emails from time to time.

A little background:

he’s actually a scientist (yes, that’s what I said, er, typed)

he learns things very quickly (memory of steel)

he can put any action “into action” in photoshop

he’s been assisting me at weddings and doing a great job

So, as you can tell he’s very valuable. And he’s all mine!

The Komen Race for the Cure

Unfortunately, this year I won’t be able to make the Komen Race for the Cure in Hartford. We’ve made it a family event since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Gurley’s Gang may not get to walk this year, but we will be there in spirit.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

25% of all my sessions done in April and May will be donated to the Komen foundation. I hope those who have booked for those 2 months already will feel good knowing some of their session cost will be donated. If anyone is interested in donating on their own, please visit the link above.

Thanks!

Twins

These two cuties came a bit early to mom and dad’s surprise! Fortunately everyone is happy and healthy, and of course maybe a bit sleep deprived :) I was so lucky to get a call to do this session while they were only days old. They are the tiniest peanuts!

Reese

This was a great shoot! I really appreciate this family’s great ideas and prep work before I got there. This little one was so adorable….and you gotta love that hair! She was getting her own little blow dry and style when I arrived! Too cute! I have never had a more cooperative baby, she has the best personality. Enjoy the preview!
